The most unique part of hunting with Dean is the opportunity to hunt over some of the very best dogs in the business.

The pride of our kennel is Master Hawk. A six time champion open shooting dog. He is the son of Rock Acre Black Hawk, a four time champion. Dean won the first open shooting dog championship in 1966 and has since won the Texas open 17 times. Dean has also won the national open shooting dog championship four times and is tied for the most championships of all time.

Most amazingly, Dean has won over 100 open dog shooting championships in his career. All of our dogs are line bred out of Black Hawk and Elhew Katie Lee, a great dog in her own right.
